Thank you for choosing to book with Whiteshell Chalets. We look forward to welcoming you. When you make this booking you are entering an agreement with us. Please read our terms and conditions of booking below.
The price of the accommodation includes the following:
Electricity, Bed Linen, Towels, Hot water, Heating and WiFi
Special Requirement or Disability:
If you have any special requirement or disability, please let us know at the time of booking so that we can advise as to whether your needs can be properly catered for at the property.
Well behaved pets are permitted BY PRIOR ARRANGEMENT at the cost of £3.60 per day. Please note that all dogs must be kept on a lead while in the park. Dogs must not foul in the park. If this does happen, it must be cleared up immediately. Please bring your own dog bed and don't use the chalet furniture. There are no facilities for dog waste disposal on the site. The nearest is down the road in Caswell. On no account must our bins be used, as this is not allowed by the City refuse collection and can incur penalties. Also please note that dogs are not allowed on Caswell Bay between April 30 and September 30. However, there are plenty of nearby beaches where they are allowed.
Cancellation and Corona Virus:
Once you have booked your holiday, our agreement is a legal contract and your deposit is non-refundable. If, for however you cannot take your holiday, for reasons of Goverment regulation due to the Corona Virus situation, we will be happy for you to either reschedule the holiday at no extra charge or we will give you a full refund of your deposit.
If, however, there is no directive from government that prevents the holiday taking place, once you have booked your holiday, our agreement is a legal contract and your deposit is non-refundable. If for whatever reason you cannot take your holiday, and cancel before the balance is due, you will lose the one day deposit. During the time before arrival, when the balance has been paid, if we are able to re let your full booking dates or part of, we will refund you all or part of your payment, less the deposit. If the booking cannot be re-let, you are liable to pay for the booking in full. Please note that your deposit is not refundable in these circumstances.
Non-availability of Accommodation:
We would only cancel your holiday if your accommodation were unavailable for reasons beyond our control. We would attempt to offer you alternative accommodation. However if this was not possible, or unacceptable to you, then we would refund all monies paid by your for the holiday. Our liability would not extend beyond this refund.
Number of Guests:
The chalet is designed for a couple, sharing. There is one bedroom with a double bed. However, there is also a bed that can be made up in the lounge area. This could be used in the case of two people, not sharing or for a third person. We must be informed of all guests expected and in the case of childen, their age, if under 18. A laundry charge of £29 is made for the third person, if a full laundry pack is required. Laundry pack includes full bed linen and towels. However, children are often happy with a sleeping bag. We can supply a sleeping bag free of charge.
Your accommodation will be available to you from 3.00pm on the day of arrival, unless otherwise arranged.
Please be ready to leave the accommodation by 10.00am on the day of departure, unless otherwise arranged.
Damages and Breakages:
Please take care with our properties. You are responsible and liable for any breakages or damage, which you cause to the accommodation or its contents. Please report these as soon as they occur. We do not normally charge for minor breakages, but we will send you an invoice for repair or making good if the damage or breakage is significant.
We do not accept any liability for any damage, loss or injury to any member of your party or any vehicles or possessions, unless proven to be caused by a negligent act by ourselves or our employees or contractors whilst acting in the course of employment.
Any data collected during the course of this booking may be kept on computer.
If you have any complaint regarding the property, please let us know urgently by phone 07866 567603 or email, email@example.com and we will deal with your complaint as a matter of top priority.
When you make your booking you need to pay a deposit equal to 1 day per week of your booking fee, immediately, by credit/debit card. We will then send you an email or letter confirming the booking and letting you know what the outstanding balance is.
We need to receive the balance at least 6 weeks before your date of arrival. The balance will be taken from the card that was used to pay the deposit, automatically 6 weeks before your arrival date, unless you inform us that payment will be made by another method. We keep no record of card details. These are kept securely by the card payment company.
For bookings made less than 6 weeks before your date of arrival, you need to make full payment of the total cost when you book.
If you book less than 2 weeks before the arrival date, your booking must be paid for, in full, by bank transfer, (Internet banking) or credit/debit card. Cheques are not an acceptable method of payment in these circumstances.
If any payment is not paid by the due date, it will be assumed that you wish to cancel your booking and our cancellation policy will apply.
You can pay while booking. The website takes you to a payment page handled by our card payment company. We can also take payments by phone or by emailing you a secure payment link.
A security bond of £150.00 is payable with the balance payment. This will be returned to you during the week following your departure
